Tasnim: Israeli satellite station linked to facilities in Azerbaijan

Hezbollah has struck the Israeli SES Satellite Station (Emek HaEla Teleport), one of the largest ground satellite communications stations, according to the Telegram channel of the Iranian news agency Tasnim, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The channel says that the station receives data from satellites, including Amos and Dror, and transmits it via the Bezeq fiber-optic network to the Israeli army’s command and control centers.

Tasnim describes the Emek facility as the “beating heart” of Israel’s ground satellite communications infrastructure, through which information is relayed to decision-making centers. The channel also claims that related facilities are also located in Azerbaijan, Hungary, and several European countries.
