IRGC-linked sources claim drone attack on Nakhchivan was a warning to Baku

“The drone that struck Nakhchivan airport—specifically the section where officers of the Zionist regime and the United States were engaged in planning and directing attacks against our country’s infrastructure—was destroyed by an Arash-2 unmanned aerial vehicle,” the IRGC-affiliated Telegram channel sepah_pasdaran reports.

It adds that “the enemy can see this for itself and must understand that Iran does not joke with anyone and shows no leniency. This drone is used by the army’s ground forces and carries a 120-kilogram warhead with extremely high destructive power.”

The message presents the strike as “merely a warning shot” directed at what it calls the “mercenary and treacherous regime in Baku.”

Meanwhile, the X account Sepah___Fa, also affiliated with the IRGC, posted a message in Azerbaijani: “Treachery has a price, and we promise that you will pay that price in the harshest possible way.”
