Al Jazeera cites former Israeli presidential adviser on Azerbaijan’s strategic role

“A new Israeli strategy reshaping the region places Israel at the center of an alliance system built on four key axes—India in the east, Ethiopia in the south, Azerbaijan in the north, and Greece and Cyprus in the west—aimed at countering Turkey, which has entrenched its military and economic presence in Libya and Somalia and seeks to complete its triangle of influence through Syria,” writes the Qatari outlet Al Jazeera, citing a December 28, 2025 article by Jonathan Adiri, an adviser to former Israeli President Shimon Peres.
