U.S. Jewish leaders’ delegation: Our partnership with Azerbaijan has strategic value for the U.S., Israel, and the Jewish world

"A delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations visited Azerbaijan and was received by President Ilham Aliyev. The trip took place ahead of the organization’s 51st conference, to be held in Israel, and coincided with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to Baku," according to Aziznews, the website of a public nonprofit organization that brings together friends of Azerbaijan in Israel.

“This visit marks 20 years since our first mission to Baku in 2006… Over the past two decades, our partnership with Azerbaijan has grown stronger, carrying clear strategic value for the United States, Israel, and the Jewish world,” the website quotes Betsy Berns Korn, chairperson of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
