Delegation of U.S. Jewish organizations met with Azerbaijani religious leaders

The Azerbaijani model of tolerance was highlighted during a meeting between the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, and a delegation led by Betsy Berns Korn, Chairperson of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the Azerbaijani news agency Trend reported.

Korn expressed her deep appreciation for Azerbaijan’s extensive experience in fostering interreligious cooperation, noting the country’s enduring atmosphere of tolerance and commitment to multicultural values. She welcomed the opportunity to engage directly with Azerbaijan’s diverse religious environment.
