Azerbaijani president received Israeli foreign minister

On January 26, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, the presidential website reported. The two sides emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations across several areas, including the economy, trade, energy, and tourism. They also highlighted cooperation in agriculture, water-resource management, high technology, and artificial intelligence.
It was noted that Sa’ar was accompanied by a large delegation of business representatives. He thanked President Aliyev for the state-level care shown toward the Jewish community in Azerbaijan.
"Our mutual goal is to deepen our partnership in energy, defense, water, agriculture, tourism and more. We’re strengthening our strategic relations!" Sa’ar wrote on X.
