Malaysian think tank: Israel used Azerbaijan’s territory to launch drones and foment unrest in Iran

"Across the waters, in Somalia, Israel hopes to establish its footing in Somaliland. Some observers dubbed it a ‘new Azerbaijan’, a reference to cozy ties between Israel and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus, from which territory Israel launched drones and fomented unrests and regime change operations within Iran, and quite plausibly executed assassination of the former Iranian president and foreign minister who died in a helicopter crash two years ago on their return from Azerbaijani border," the Malaysia-based think tank Islamic Renaissance Front wrote.
