Tasnim: Aliyev’s forecasts prove accurate as Azerbaijan–USA partnership deepens

“Ilham Aliyev’s forecasts from last spring have proven accurate. At the time, he viewed positively the end of an anti-Azerbaijani phase in U.S. policy and stated with confidence that, given the Trump administration’s agenda, this period would be an excellent opportunity to strengthen partnerships. What we are seeing now is a clear confirmation of that assessment,” writes the Iranian news agency Tasnim, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
