Media outlet linked to Iran’s Supreme Leader calls for firmer policy toward Azerbaijan over Israel cooperation

Amid Azerbaijan’s actions undermining Iran’s interests — including the "incitement of ethnic issues, the creation of border tensions," and cooperation with Israel — Tehran should adopt a firmer and more calculated policy, writes Kayhan, a conservative Iranian newspaper widely seen as the mouthpiece of the Supreme Leader.

“The absence of any change in the behavior of the Republic of Azerbaijan only reinforces the perception that Iran is prepared to continue one-sided diplomatic consultations even in the face of hostile actions,” the newspaper notes.
