Iranian MFA spokesperson: Alleged Azerbaijan–Israel cooperation against Iran will be addressed if evidence is provided

“We have always warned regional states and our neighbours to remain vigilant against the Zionist regime’s misuse of their airspace,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, responding to a question about whether the issue of reports claiming that Israel used Azerbaijan’s airspace to launch attacks on Iran would be raised during the Iranian foreign minister’s visit to Baku.

He continued: “When it comes to any allegations, our position is based solely on documents, evidence, and reliable, well-substantiated information. Any case received from the relevant military and intelligence authorities will, without the slightest delay and without any preconditions, be seriously and transparently discussed with any country to which it pertains.”
