Azerbaijan’s economy minister holds high-level meetings in Israel

On 20 November, during a visit to Israel, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Zeev Elkin, Minister at Israel’s Ministry of Finance and Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan–Israel Joint Commission.
On the same day, Jabbarov also held a meeting with Gideon Sa'ar, Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. The discussions focused on “the prospects of joint projects with strategic significance for both sides and the wider region” and “Azerbaijan’s favorable geo-economic location and its rising transit potential in global trade.”
Meanwhile, Sa'ar noted: "Had a good discussion on the Trump Plan in Gaza and the Azerbaijani-Armenian issue, as well as our deepening bilateral and economic ties. Israeli tourism in Azerbaijan increased dramatically in 2025, and we'll keep promoting it. I look forward to visiting Baku soon."
