Iranian media: Gaza war dampens Muslim states’ willingness to normalize with Israel — Azerbaijan seen as an exception

According to the Iranian analytical website Tahlil Bazar (focused on economics and markets), Israel is trying to draw Indonesia and Azerbaijan into the Abraham Accords to bolster its legitimacy in the Islamic world, expand its geopolitical reach, and contain Iran.
“In the view of politicians of the false, child-killing Zionist regime, these efforts are part of a broader strategy to build a network of alliances stretching from the Mediterranean to Central Asia, strengthening Israel’s regional position and isolating its rivals,” the site writes.
Tahlil Bazar argues that the war in Gaza and Muslim public opinion have weakened Muslim leaders’ willingness to normalize relations with Israel—with the exception of Azerbaijan.
