Walla: Israeli, U.S. rabbis urge Azerbaijan’s inclusion in Gaza stabilization force

"The initiative to include Azerbaijan in an international force for Gaza has also received spiritual backing in recent days. Rabbis in Israel and the United States are calling for deeper cooperation between the countries and for Baku to be enlisted in the postwar reconstruction and security process," Walla, one of Israel’s leading news portals, reports.

"The relationship between Israel and Azerbaijan is based on trust, on a shared language of civic responsibility and faith in peace. The inclusion of Azerbaijan in an international force for Gaza is not merely a political move but an expression of mutual responsibility among peoples, religions, and neighbors seeking stability and hope… Azerbaijan has proven its commitment to the path of peace and its openness to the Jewish world and the State of Israel. Its integration into an international force for Gaza could be a foundation of real hope for the entire Middle East… Cooperation between Azerbaijan, Israel, and the United States can transform Gaza from a symbol of suffering into a symbol of renewal," Walla quotes the rabbis as saying.
