Hüseyniyyun-linked center claims Azerbaijan is becoming a “second Palestine”

The Azerbaijan Studies Center affiliated with the pro-Iranian group Hüseyniyyun* writes that the Conference of European Rabbis in Baku is a step toward Azerbaijan’s accession to the Abraham Accords, which “intensifies the occupation of Azerbaijan by Zionist Jews.”

“The country (Azerbaijan), remaining outside the attention of the international community, is turning into a second Palestine and becoming a hotspot of tension in the Caucasus. In response, Azerbaijani residents, protesting this conference, have launched a social-media campaign with the slogans ‘End the Jewish invasion’ and ‘Jews come drawn by the smell of oil,’” the Center claims.

*Hüseyniyyun is a group created by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from followers of the Khomeinist ideology who fled from Azerbaijan to Iran.
