Iranian MP: Raisi’s death was planned by Israel, in cooperation with Britain and Azerbaijan

“The ministers [of Azerbaijan and Iran] were supposed to attend the inauguration of a dam at the border’s zero point, but at Aliyev’s insistence Ayatollah Raisi agreed to attend the ceremony in person. A few days before the incident, Aliyev also met with Israeli rabbis,” said Iranian lawmaker Kamran Ghazanfari.

“According to a document that came into the possession of the forces of the Islamic Republic, at a closed meeting in early May 2024, an American official said Israel intended to eliminate one of Iran’s senior and important figures,” Ghazanfari added.

"Further materials obtained by Iranian intelligence include Pentagon records that mention the helicopter crash and state plainly that the operation was planned by Israel, in cooperation with Britain and Baku!!!" the parliamentarian alleged.
