Iranian newspaper: Tehran is not ready to open a new front against Azerbaijan

Iran is refraining from openly accusing Azerbaijan of complicity with Israel, although it appears to have already drawn conclusions based on military and intelligence assessments, according to the reformist newspaper Ham-Mihan.
According to the newspaper, Tehran does not consider the current moment appropriate for launching a confrontation, but Iranian authorities are also unwilling to ignore recent developments.
As Ham-Mihan emphasizes, the restrained response may be due to the fact that “Tehran is currently focused on other priorities and does not consider the timing right for opening a new front.”
The newspaper also notes that, amid reports of alleged Israeli drone and fighter jet attacks launched from Azerbaijani territory, speculation has resurfaced over "Baku’s possible involvement" in the 2024 helicopter crash that killed former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
