Representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in IRGC: Israeli presence in Azerbaijan poses a threat to the region

"The presence of the Zionist regime in Azerbaijan has increased instability and insecurity in the region and poses a serious threat to neighboring countries," said Hojjatoleslam Abdolrahim Najafgholizadeh Saraei, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in the IRGC’s provincial unit Ashura in East Azerbaijan.

He urged both the authorities and the public to pay closer attention to "this issue," warning that Iran will oppose any "subversive actions" (as reported by the Iranian news agency Mehr, which is affiliated with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei).
