Another Iranian expert accuses Azerbaijan of involvement in Israeli attacks on Iran

All relevant Iranian specialized organizations unanimously agree that the Israeli F-35 fighter jets and drones that carried out strikes on northern and northwestern Iran, as well as Tehran, “entered Iranian airspace through Azerbaijan,” said Iranian expert Dariush Safarnejad during a broadcast on Iranian state television.

Safarnejad added that, over the past three weeks, Azerbaijani state media have adopted “the most hostile rhetoric toward Iran, including calls for the country’s territorial fragmentation and open expressions of support for Israel." According to him, all media outlets in Azerbaijan are state-controlled.

The statement was reported by the Iranian Telegram channel QODS_COM, which is affiliated with the Quds Force, a special unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
