Iranian media: Azerbaijan’s provocative moves against Tehran continue

Drone attacks on Iran launched from Azerbaijani territory are not isolated incidents but part of a “series of provocative actions” by Baku, according to the Iranian news outlet Diyar Mirza.

The article notes that in recent years, Azerbaijan has taken several other actions seen as hostile by Tehran: the closure of Iran’s cultural center in Baku, the expulsion of Iranian diplomats, restrictions on Iranian trucks heading to Nakhchivan, demands related to the “Zangezur Corridor,” and interference in ethnic matters in Iran’s northwestern provinces.

“Such moves—especially amid the silence of certain Iranian officials—could embolden Azerbaijan to act even more brazenly,” Diyar Mirza adds.
