IRGC-affiliated channel: Azerbaijan provided airspace for Israeli strikes on Iran; oil pipeline seen as potential target

“The regime in Baku is the only neighboring country that not only refrained from condemning Israel’s aggression against Iran but also provided its airspace for Israeli fighter jets,” writes the Russian-language Telegram channel sepah_pasdaran_ru, which is affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The channel also adds that “following the explosion at the ‘Alov’ plant, which is part of Baku’s defense industry, the 1.2 million-barrel-capacity oil pipeline that delivers Azerbaijani oil to Israel now also appears to be a tempting target.”
