Iran’s FM spokesperson: Azerbaijan denied involvement in Israeli attacks, but investigation continues

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has stated that all neighboring countries have assured Tehran they will not, under any circumstances, allow Israel to use their airspace or territory for “aggressive actions against Iran.” His remarks came in response to a question about whether Israel used Azerbaijani territory to launch drones.

“This matter remains under close scrutiny, and such incidents are being carefully monitored, recorded, and documented by our armed forces, as well as by security and military institutions. The Foreign Ministry is also seriously engaged with this issue and continues to follow the developments,” the spokesman added (Iran’s state news agency IRNA).
