Iranian analyst warns: Tehran may reassess ties with Azerbaijani President if Baku's role in Israeli strikes is confirmed

Iranian Middle East analyst Mostafa Najafi has stated that growing evidence points to a possible direct or indirect role by Azerbaijan in Israel’s recent attacks on Iran.

He noted that, in response, the Islamic Republic conveyed information to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and demanded an investigation, the results of which “must be shared with Tehran.”

“Proof of Baku’s direct or indirect involvement in Israeli aggression will force Iran to reassess its policy, adopt new military arrangements, and implement security measures toward Aliyev — even before any potential future confrontation with the Zionist regime,” Najafi warned.
