Iraqi expert: Israel is recruiting Iranians in Cyprus and Azerbaijan

Israeli infiltration was not limited to Iranian territory but extended to neighboring countries, which have “become forward bases for the recruitment of Iranians — most notably Cyprus and Azerbaijan,” according to Iraqi security expert Sarmed Al-Bayati.

"Al-Bayati revealed that he received a personal call from an unknown individual in Cyprus, who informed him of extensive recruitment operations targeting Iranians visiting the island. The caller claimed that Mossad had intensified its presence in these regions due to their proximity to Iran’s borders and the existence of secret Israeli bases," Al Arb 24 reports, citing the expert’s interview.
