Head of the Armenian VOMA organization claims that Israel used Azerbaijani territory to launch strikes against Iran

Vova Vartanov, head of the Armenian public-military non-governmental organization VOMA, asserts that Israel used Azerbaijani territory to carry out operations against Iran in exchange for military support during the Azerbaijan–Armenia conflict.
“Iranian reports claiming that Israel uses Azerbaijani territory to launch strikes against Iran are entirely expected — nothing comes without a price. Back in 2016, not only drones but also Israeli operator crews targeted Armenian positions in the Republic of Artsakh... By 2020, there were no longer Israeli specialists, but Israeli weapons remained — in even greater quantities than in 2016,” said Vartanov in an interview with the Russian-Armenian news agency RUSARM INFO.
According to Vartanov, Azerbaijan granted Israeli intelligence access to its territory in return for military support. He adds that airports “built on occupied Artsakh land” are now used by Israel as forward bases, enabling Israeli aircraft to divert into the Caspian Sea before proceeding to Baku.
