Armenian Turkologist: This is the ideal moment for a strategic alliance between Armenia and Iran

"As far as can be judged from Iranian media and official discourse, a consensus has already formed that Israel is using Azerbaijani territory to carry out attacks on Iran," wrote Armenian Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan on his Telegram channel.

"I don't think Iran will open a second front right now, but after this phase of the war ends, Azerbaijan will most likely face a harsh Iranian response," he added.

Geghamyan further noted that the current situation "presents an ideal moment for a strategic Armenian-Iranian alliance."
