Syrian expert: Military cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan against Iran exists, though classified

There is a high probability of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, said Syrian international affairs expert Rami al-Khalifa Ali in an interview with the Syrian news agency Step News.

“Given that Israel is engaged in what it considers an existential and strategic war, it is natural that it makes use of all its resources, including cooperation with Azerbaijan. Israel has weapons and intelligence facilities on Azerbaijani territory,” he noted.

Al-Khalifa Ali added that the possibility of Mossad agents penetrating Iran through Azerbaijan “does exist.” He noted that the scale and nature of the cooperation remain unknown to the general public, adding: “Naturally, the details are classified, but military collaboration between the two sides certainly exists.”
