Azerbaijani MP: Baku is ready to mediate between Iran and Israel

In an interview with the Saudi television channel Asharq, Azerbaijani MP Jeyhun Mammadov stated that his country firmly “rejects the use of its territory for any hostile actions against Iran” and noted that “the borders have been closed for some time due to security concerns.”

He also emphasized that “given Baku’s balanced relations and diplomatic potential, Azerbaijan is ready to act as a mediator between Tehran and Tel Aviv if both sides demonstrate willingness.”
