Iranian researcher to Khamenei-affiliated media: Azerbaijan, U.S., and Israel spread fake news

“Today, one of the primary tools used by the Zionist enemy, the Americans, and their allies — including monarchists, Unit 8200, and Baku’s cyber division — is the production of fake news,” said Iranian media researcher Alireza Al-Davoud in an interview with Kayhan, the conservative newspaper closely aligned with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

“It should be noted that the power of fake news can even exceed that of atomic bombs, as it distorts public perception and spreads fear among the population,” he added.
