Khamenei-linked media accuses Azerbaijan of assisting Israeli Air Force in attack on Iran

"Iran managed to gain the upper hand in a complex aerial confrontation involving the United States and Israel," according to the Iranian news agency Mehr, which is affiliated with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

"Despite massive U.S. spending to support Israel, along with aerial backing, equipment supplied by various countries, and the use of air defense systems from nations such as Qatar, Azerbaijan, and Jordan, Iran has demonstrated its ability to challenge the overall effectiveness of these fighter jets," the news agency reports.
