Iranian newspaper: Azerbaijan, an Israeli ally, must be closely watched amid attacks on Iran

"Amid the savage attacks by the Zionists on Iran’s sacred soil, the movements of some neighboring countries—which have previously shown significant support and cooperation with the Zionists—must be closely monitored," writes the Iranian newspaper Shargh, which is affiliated with the reformist camp.

"At the top of this list is the Republic of Baku, which, coinciding with Israel's attacks on Iran, continues its rhetoric about the fake Zangezur Corridor... Today, the country is in a state of full-scale war, and if Israel finds itself in a difficult situation, it is entirely possible that Baku and Turkey will open a new front against Iran by attacking Syunik Province in an attempt to seize the border with Armenia and complete Iran’s geopolitical strangulation," the newspaper notes.
