Iranian media: Azerbaijan denies any role or tolerance for third-party attacks on Iran from its territory

"Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov assured Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi in a phone call on Saturday (June 14) that Azerbaijan will not allow its territory to be used for attacks against Iran... As fears grow over regional spillover following Israeli attacks on Iran and Tehran's legitimate self-defense, Azerbaijan’s position sends a clear message of neutrality, aimed at preventing further escalation on its borders and in the wider South Caucasus region... Azerbaijan denies any role or tolerance for third-party attacks launched from its soil against Iran... Azerbaijan and Iran share a complex border and political history, making Baku’s clear stance especially significant," reports Iran Press, a pro-government Iranian news agency.
