Iranian expert: Israeli drone infiltration from Azerbaijani territory into Iran is documented

“The infiltration of Israeli drones and micro air vehicles from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan into Iran has been officially and documentarily confirmed,” said Iranian expert Ehsan Movahedian in an interview with the Iranian news outlet Tasnim, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"Azerbaijan, with the direct 'green light' from Ilham Aliyev, has effectively become a launchpad and landing site for Mossad reconnaissance drones targeting Iran—while Aliyev shamelessly speaks of ‘brotherhood with Iran,’” he added.

"Such actions cannot be seen as a diplomatic misstep. They must be recognized as a clear betrayal of the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. How many more times must Israeli drones infiltrate Iranian airspace from Azerbaijani territory before this country is removed from the list of friends?" the expert asked.

“‘Birds of death’ are flying in from our northern borders, and Azerbaijan’s frontier has become a corridor for Zionist spies and military hardware. Its media outlets have also turned into platforms for Zionist propaganda in the region,” said Movahedian, who is known for his anti-Azerbaijani and anti-Israeli views.
