Azerbaijani presidential aide: Accusations of sending ethnic Azerbaijanis as agents to Iran on behalf of Israel are baseless

"Certain media and social media accounts have recently circulated entirely unfounded and fabricated claims suggesting that as if Azerbaijan has recruited ethnic Azerbaijanis as agents and deployed them into Iran on behalf of Israel. These kinds of absurd and fantasy-driven allegations have no connection to reality and constitute nothing more than deliberate disinformation. We categorically reject such fake news and baseless accusations," stated Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of Azerbaijan.
