Tel Aviv University to host high-level event on Israel–Azerbaijan–U.S. cooperation

Tel Aviv University will host a high-level event titled “Beyond Bilateralism: A New Era in Israel–Azerbaijan–U.S. Cooperation?” focusing on emerging trilateral partnerships among the three countries in the fields of security, energy, and regional strategy. The event will take place on June 25.
Organized by the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies (MDC) in partnership with the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS) and the Azerbaijan-based Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), the event will feature diplomats and policy analysts from all three nations.
Among the speakers are the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Israel, Mukhtar Mammadov; former U.S. Deputy Envoy Ellie Cohanim; Dr. Gallia Lindenstrauss of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS); and representatives from institutions such as the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, the Heritage Foundation, the Yorktown Institute, and others. A special interview session will follow with Fariz Rzayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Key topics include: Azerbaijan’s emerging role in trilateral formats; a U.S. perspective on Mediterranean–Caspian connectivity; Azerbaijan’s role in Israeli–Turkish relations; energy infrastructure and security; the Israel–Azerbaijan alliance; post-conflict ties following the Second Karabakh War; and the impact of the Abraham Accords on Israel–Azerbaijan relations.
