India.com: A new India–Israel–Azerbaijan triangle is forming

"Azerbaijan, which was considered to be Turkey’s close friend has betrayed it. When Turkey broke all ties with Israel after the attack on Gaza, Azerbaijan instead made a secret deal with Israel on oil supply. Notably, Azerbaijan had stopped selling oil to Israel in October 2024. But in reality the oil is still being supplied. Just not directly, but through third party traders," according to India’s largest news website, India.com.

"In 2023, when Azerbaijan fought a Kargil-like war with Armenia, Israel openly helped it. It supported it from weapons to diplomacy. Now in return, Azerbaijan is repaying the favor by giving it oil. Both clearly said – the relationship will remain, no matter what the world says," the website notes.

"The friendship between India and Israel is well known. Now that Azerbaijan is also joining hands with Israel, it can be beneficial for India. This means that a new triangle of three countries is being formed, which can support each other in all three matters – security, oil and politics," India.com emphasizes.
