Head of Azerbaijani think tank: Azerbaijan-Israel-Turkey cooperation is Baku's geopolitical dream

"Any hostility between Israel and Turkey is the most unwanted scenario for the policymakers in Baku. This is why they would invest all their best efforts in order to somehow mend their relations. If mending the relations is too big effort, then at least engagement is what Baku will try to pursue. Because, for some years, the Azerbaijan-Israel-Turkey triangular cooperation had served, maybe it still serves as Baku's geopolitical dream for this region... I am sure, there will be a lot of efforts from our capital (Baku) in order to somehow at least keep Israel and Turkey in the same room of discussions," said Rusif Huseynov, director of the Baku-based think tank Topchubashov Center, in an interview with the Turkish state-run English-language TV channel TRT World.
