U.S. senator meets with Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan

U.S. Senator Steve Daines, currently visiting Azerbaijan, met with Israeli Ambassador to Baku, George Deek, according to a post on the U.S. Embassy’s official X account. "They discussed the importance of the Israel-Azerbaijan relationship to regional peace and our shared goals and priorities for a continued strong economic and security partnership that benefits the American people," the Embassy noted.

Earlier today, Senator Daines was received by the President of Azerbaijan.
