President of Azerbaijan receives U.S. senator

On May 29, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Republican Senator Steve Daines, who is a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Azerbaijani news agency APA reports.

"In addition, Steve Daines will meet with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. The meetings will discuss strengthening U.S.-Azerbaijan economic cooperation and consolidating peace and security in the region," APA adds.
