IRGC media mouthpiece: Azerbaijan and Israel — two nations, one state

“Azerbaijan has once again revealed the true face of its secretive and shameful relations with the Zionist regime,” stated the Iranian news agency Fars, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The statement was made in response to Azerbaijan’s Eurovision participation featuring a performer of Jewish origin, as well as Israel’s representative, who is of Azerbaijani descent.

“For years, the slogan ‘One nation, two states’ was used to describe the relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Now, the bitter truth has been revealed: the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Zionist regime represent ‘two nations — one state.’ A state that stands in opposition to the unity of the Islamic ummah,” the news agency added.
