Azerbaijani expert: Baku’s ties with Israel will not undermine its cooperation with Iran

The principle of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is that the country has never allowed its relations with one state to depend on its ties with another. This was emphasized by Masiagha Mahammadi, a senior expert at Azerbaijan’s Center for Analysis of International Relations, in an interview with the Iranian economic news agency Eghtesaad 24.

“The idea that Azerbaijan’s relations with Israel could restrict or disrupt its cooperation with Iran is misguided,” Mahammadi added.
