Khamenei’s representative: Netanyahu asks Trump to urge Turkey not to block Azerbaijani oil deliveries

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked U.S. President Donald Trump to persuade Turkey not to obstruct the transit of Azerbaijani oil—transported from Baku through Tbilisi to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, and onward to Israel’s port of Haifa—in the event of a conflict with Ankara. The statement was made by Hassan Ameli, the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s representative in Iran’s Ardabil Province, who is known for his anti-Azerbaijani rhetoric (Iran’s state news agency IRNA).
