Tasnim: Azerbaijan tops list of candidates for Abraham Accords, paving way for Central Asia

Azerbaijan is considered one of Israel’s key allies and stands among the leading candidates to join the Abraham Accords, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“It is expected that following Azerbaijan, other Central Asian countries will also join the agreement. Baku plays a pivotal role in persuading these nations and appears to be promoting the idea of ‘extending the reconciliation pact (the Abraham Accords) to the entire Turkic world,’” the news agency notes.
