Indian think tank: Israeli and Turkish officials held technical talks in Baku

"A high-level Israeli diplomatic-security delegation led by National Security Council Director Tzachi Hanegbi met Turkish counterparts on 9 April 2025 in Baku under the auspices of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev," writes the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), an Indian government-affiliated think tank.

"According to Turkish officials, the technical discussions held in Azerbaijan indicate initial efforts to establish communication channels to prevent potential military misunderstandings or confrontations in the region," MP-IDSA emphasizes.
