Armenian expert: Potential U.S.-Israel-Azerbaijan axis poses risks for Iran

“If we look at the emerging geopolitical realities — where the Trump administration supports Israel on nearly all fronts — and consider the context of ongoing discussions about Azerbaijan joining the Abraham Accords, a U.S.-Israel-Azerbaijan axis could emerge, which would pose risks for Iran," said Armenian expert on Iran Vardan Voskanyan during an interview with the Armenian news program Shant News.

He emphasized that Iran’s concerns also stem from the situation “on the ground."

"There are already various Israeli intelligence structures operating on Azerbaijani territory with a focus on Iran — a presence that also causes concern in Tehran,” Voskanyan noted.
