Israel’s new ambassador to Baku expresses confidence in the continued growth of relations with Azerbaijan

"Azerbaijan is a country where every person feels free and happy, and where everyone is treated with respect. Here, I have not only witnessed a high level of diplomacy, but also a true example of humanism," said Israel’s newly appointed ambassador to Baku, Ronen Kraus, as quoted by the Azerbaijani news agency APA. The remarks were made during his visit to the “Azerbaijani House” in the city of Acre, which belongs to the Coordination Center of Mountain Jews.

"The diplomat expressed confidence that relations between the two countries would continue to develop further day by day. It was also emphasized during the event that Azerbaijan is the second safest and most comfortable country for Jews to live in, after Israel," the news agency added.
