Iranian MP: Tehran views Azerbaijan’s rapprochement with Israel as deeply troubling

"The Islamic Republic is sensitive to certain actions taken by the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, particularly the presence of Zionists in that country. Strengthening ties between Tehran and Baku could help neutralize the conspiracies of the usurping Zionist regime in the region," said Abolfazl Zahravand, a member of the Iranian parliament’s national security commission (the Iranian state news agency IRNA).
