Iranian media: Tehran could replace Israel as Azerbaijan’s main oil buyer

Iran may import up to 110,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Azerbaijan and process it at a major refinery in Tabriz, the capital of Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province. This was reported by the Iranian news agency Fars, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Iran’s English-language news outlet Press TV, "this purchase could help Iran replace the Israeli regime as the primary buyer of Azerbaijani oil."
