Iranian analytical site: Azerbaijan avoids condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon

Over the past two years, Azerbaijan has maintained close relations with Israel and "has refrained from condemning the genocide in Gaza and the aggression against Lebanon," writes Iran Diplomacy, an Iranian analytical website.

"Beyond the Palestinian issue, there is documented evidence of the Zionist regime’s military presence in Azerbaijan — including the establishment of a cybersecurity center as well as surveillance and espionage facilities — effectively turning the country into a regional base for Zionist operations against Iran. The announcement of Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to Baku, coinciding with news of the Iranian president’s visit, reflects the opposing side’s (Israel’s) efforts to demonstrate comparable influence in Baku," the site notes.
