Iran’s largest company bans sale of Azerbaijani, U.S., and Israeli flags

Iran’s largest online marketplace, Digikala, has banned the sale of the Azerbaijani flag, placing it alongside the flags of the United States and Israel under the category of “hostile countries.” In addition, Digikala prohibits the publication and sale of any merchandise displaying the flags or symbols of the United States, Israel, Azerbaijan, the Taliban, ISIS, and Lithuania. The platform cites “political messaging contrary to the principles of the Islamic Republic” as the reason for the ban (the website of Digikala).
