Iranian news agency: Azerbaijan serves as Israel’s gateway to Central Asia and the Caucasus

"Israel is seeking the support of non-Arab Muslim nations—particularly Azerbaijan—to advance the normalization process. Despite its Shiite-majority population, Azerbaijan has previously engaged in extensive cooperation with Israel in the fields of security and the economy (including the acquisition of advanced weaponry). Azerbaijan’s inclusion in these agreements (the Abraham Accords) could carry both symbolic and strategic significance," reports the Iranian news agency Sad Online.
"Trilateral cooperation between Israel, Azerbaijan, and the United States in areas such as energy, technology, and cybersecurity may be on the agenda (during Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to Baku). Azerbaijan, as Israel’s gateway to Central Asia and the Caucasus, plays a key role in strengthening Tel Aviv’s influence in the region," the news agency notes.
